January 6th (The Capitol Riot)

According to an article posted August 2, on CBS News, by Zak Hudak, "A third officer who responded to the January 6 attack on the Capitol has died by apparent suicide, a spokesperson for Washington's Metropolitan Police Department said Monday." the article continues, "Officer Gunther Hashida, an 18-year veteran on the force, was found dead in his home Thursday, according to Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokeperson." House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in a statement quote, "Officer Hashida was a hero, who risked his life to save our capitol, the Congressional community and our very Democracy,"

My condolences to the family of Officer Hashida, may he rest in peace. This is ridiculous! Why is blood being shed over this exaggerated incident? The riot on January 6th was nothing short of a RIOT. I completely condemn the actions of those who stormed the capitol building, and ONLY those who stormed the building. Why though are we calling the officers defending the capitol hero's, but ignoring the officers that were beaten by the BLM rioters? Why is Nancy Pelosi praising the WMPD officers, but the left calls the officers who were brutally attacked pigs? It's ok for the BLM rioters to burn down buildings, loot, and smash windows, but it's an attack on our Democracy when rioters storm the capitol and take a selfie at Pelosi's desk. Since when has Nancy Pelosi cared about Democracy? This seems to be the way the left sees just about everything. If Trump supporters storm the capitol for reasons they don't like, it's an attack on our Democracy, but if the BLM supporters burn down a police department in Portland then it's because their too pure of heart and just got a little over zealous. It's called having a double standard and it's something everyone on the left has in common.

By the way, if you heard the January 6th hearing than you should know that it was a TOTAL JOKE. Rather than discussing the facts of the case, the testifying officers were asked how the felt concerning the matter. The feelings of the responding officers have no bearing whatsoever on the case, only the facts matter. Plus, a couple of the officers took the time to discuss "white privilege" and BLM topics, while another quite obviously suggested VIOLENCE towards Donald Trump. The point for the left in this hearing is to keep this January 6th riot at the top of hot topics as an attempt to scar Trumps legacy, probably because they now see the huge push back coming in 2022 and 2024 given the failure of the Biden administration. In conclusion, the left is desperate to keep Biden's record clean and are attempting to keep it clean by putting things like COVID, BLM, and the January 6th hearing in confusion and at the forefront of politics.
